We are now hiring EXPERIENCED Pharmaceutical Blister Packaging Equipment operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable! In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blister packaging machinery used in the production of pharmaceutical products. Your expertise will ensure that packaging processes adhere to strict quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
Blister Packaging Equipment Operator Responsibilities
1st shift 9a-5p
$17.00 per hour and up depending on experience
- Operate blister packaging machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks on packaged products to verify compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including batch documentation, machine logs, and inspection reports.
- Assist with setup, calibration, and changeovers of packaging equipment using hand tools and mechanical knowledge.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to warehouse safety procedures such as forklift operation.
- Support warehouse activities related to raw material handling, inventory management, and storage of finished goods.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify deviations or potential issues in the packaging process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Blister Packaging Equipment Operator Requirements
- 6 months prior experience operating pharmaceutical packaging equipment is required.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automated packaging machinery.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and industry best practices for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, including forklift operation is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of packaging processes within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.
