Automotive Fabrication Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Fabrication Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and quality control of critical automotive components, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of fabrication equipment, including welding machines, CNC machines, and hand tools, to produce high-quality automotive parts and components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Perform assembly, finishing, and testing of fabricated components to meet or exceed quality standards
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficient in the use of fabrication equipment, including welding, cutting, and forming tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in fabrication or manufacturing preferred

Working Conditions:
This position is based in our production facility and requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Shifts may include weekends and overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $18 to $22 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
