Monday-Friday 8AM-FINISH AND 1PM-FINISH
$17.00 an hour
Must be able to pass a clean 7-year background check

Job Overview
Pickers and packers play a crucial role in warehouses and distribution centers by ensuring that customer orders are accurately filled and efficiently prepared for shipment. This position is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Order Fulfillment: Select and package products based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy in the items and quantities picked.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of items picked and packed to ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Quality Control: Inspect products before packing to ensure they meet quality standards, checking for damages or defects.
• Packing Procedures: Utilize appropriate packing materials and techniques to secure items for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
• Labeling: Generate and affix shipping labels to packages, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and clearly visible for delivery.
• Shipping Coordination: Prepare packages for shipment by organizing and scheduling pickups with carriers to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the workplace, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to assist in the picking and packing process.
