Textile Job Summary
- $14.00
- 7am-3pm Monday – Friday Some Saturday overtime
- The primary responsibility of this position is load packages from pallets to pin trucks and creel stands and clean residual yarn from bobbins to prepare yarn for operations. Principal (Essential) Duties Principal duties define the job and are required to fulfill the purpose. Identify the different types, ply and denier of yarns used to the supply the creels and filling yarns for manufacturing fabric. Load incoming yarn from pallet to pin trucks and creels. Use proper splicing procedures utilizing air splicers. Label finished product for proper identification for the next process. Clean residual yarn from bobbins using bobbin stripper and scissors.
Textile Qualifications
- Requires general hand tools (wrenches and screw drivers) to tighten creel arms, replace tensioners, and eyelets.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S procedure, rules, and regulations. Stage work area for the organization of proper materials needed during the shift.
- Use proper waste handling procedures so that at the end of the shift supplies are accurately in order for the following shift.
- Maintain a good attendance record and adhere to the Attendance Policy. Adhere to Company Handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Strictly comply with all operating and safety procedures and rules as may be implemented by the company, and immediately alert management of any unsafe condition
