Job description:
PROMAN Staffing has partner with our client to source a detail-oriented Export Agent to join their JFK team and support international freight operations.
This direct hire opportunity is ideal for someone experienced in air exports who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused logistics environment.
Export Agent Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international air/ocean export shipments and documentation
- Act as liaison between customers, carriers, and customs brokers
- Ensure accurate billing, charges, and documentation (e.g., invoices, BOLs)
- Open and manage files in CargoWise and resolve customs-related issues
Export Agent Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of air export experience preferred (6month- 1year REQUIRED)
- 1–2 years of CargoWise experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation
