PROMAN Staffing is proud to support our Global client to source and hire Header/Threader Machine Operators to join the expanding team in Gallatin, TN.
This role is responsible for performing production operations on complex cold heading and threading equipment, including machine setup, adjustment, operation, and minor repairs. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain close tolerances in a fast‑paced environment.
Header/Threader Operator Job Summary
• $28.60 to $31.75 per hour
• 1st shift, 12 hour shifts available
• 2nd shift, 1:30pm to 10:00pm
• Direct hire role with long term opportunity
• Set up and operate header equipment
• Load material and verify stock size
• Maintain tolerances with machine adjustments
• Inspect parts and record SPC data
• Move and weigh materials and parts
• Perform minor repairs on equipment
Header/Threader Operator Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience required
• MUST have 2-3 years experience operating header/threader machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient math and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand part prints
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications and email
