We are now hiring for a Patient Ambassador who is a team player, versatile, and dependable!
Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen.
Hours & Shift:
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Job Summary:
- Greet patients warmly and introduce yourself as their room care contact.
- Act as a friendly and approachable point of contact for patients and their families, addressing their concerns, answering questions.
- Respond promptly and courteously to patient requests related to room cleanliness or comfort.
- Communicate cleaning schedules and ask about any special needs or concerns.
- Support a positive patient experience by being friendly, respectful, and attentive.
- Dust, mop and sweep.
- Clean floors and surfaces using predefined cleaning methods and procedures.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and public restrooms.
- Make beds using clean and disinfected linen and replenish supplies such as towels, blankets, soaps and shampoos.
- Clean mirrors and windows along with polishing fittings and fixtures.
- Collect dirty laundry from rooms and deliver them to washing areas.
- Notify nursing or clinical staff if patients have questions or concerns outside housekeeping duties.
- Gather feedback from patients and their families regarding their experiences to facilitate continuous improvement in patient care.
- Take part in activities such as: changing television channels with remote control, communicating with patients and families, providing blankets and comfort items as needed.
- Identify patient room needs including supply, housekeeping.
Job Requirements::
- Must be very reliable and dependable, as there is a strict attendance policy.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Good communication and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods..
- Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Must pass background checks and drug screen required by the healthcare facility.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
