PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading plastics manufacturing company in the Festus area to hire experienced Production Floor Technicians for 2nd shift. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in plastics, molding, or industrial production who are seeking long‑term, stable employment.
Location: Festus, MO.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
Shift Differential: Earn 2 hours of additional pay for every 8 hours worked.
Attendance Requirement: No absences permitted during the first 90 days
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations — Operate injection molding, injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding, and sonic welding equipment
Tooling Setup — Set up and adjust molds, tools, and fixtures safely and accurately
Product Finishing — Perform routing, trimming, drilling, and other finishing tasks
Precision Measurement — Use rulers, tape measures, and calipers (standard & metric)
Quality Assurance — Inspect parts, identify defects, and maintain quality standards
Packaging & Labeling — Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment
Ideal Candidate Profile
Manufacturing Experience — Prior experience in plastics, molding, or industrial production required
Physical Capability , Able to stand/walk 7+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
Technical Aptitude
Strong mechanical understanding and ability to learn quickly
Attention to Detail
Maintains accuracy in fast‑paced environments
