We are hiring Assembly Operators in Lexington, KY.
1st shift 7:30am- 4:30 M-F Pay Rate is $15.00 an hr
Assembly Operator Summary:
- Use of hand tools and follows part prints.
- Labels cartons.
- Moves final product.
- Set-up piece count scales.
- Lift/move boxes of parts.
- Inspects parts, completes inspections records, and visually sort parts per customer requirements.
- Complete machine production and relocation log sheets.
- Use inspection tools such as thread gauge and plug gauge.
- Assemble parts as required.
- Complete production logs.
Assembly Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of prior manufacturing or other experience involving use or operation of equipment is required.
- The ability to lift/move boxes of parts weighing up to 45-pounds, use manual lifts and operate floor jack to transport containers weighing up to 2,000 pounds is required.
- Must have manual dexterity to work with small parts and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Complete a skills test may be required
