Job Summary:
As the Quality Control Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufacturing processes and output. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee the quality inspection team, identify and address any quality issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the quality inspection team
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues
- Analyze quality data and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation
- Provide training and guidance to quality inspection personnel
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations
Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality control role
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, tools, and techniques
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
Working Conditions:
This position is based in our manufacturing facility, which may involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. A flexible schedule, including occasional weekend or evening work, may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target pay rate for this temporary position is $16 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
