General Labor - Maintenance Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused General Labor / Maintenance Associate to support warehouse operations and facility upkeep. This role involves a combination of seated assembly or inspection work, light general labor tasks, and basic maintenance responsibilities, including cleaning and servicing fire extinguishers and other facility equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

General Labor Duties

Perform seated production, inspection, sorting, labeling, or light assembly tasks.
Package and prepare materials for shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with inventory counts and warehouse support activities as needed.

Maintenance Duties

Inspect, clean, and maintain fire extinguishers according to company procedures.
Ensure fire extinguishers are free from dust, debris, and damage.
Perform basic facility maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and minor repairs.
Assist with routine safety inspections.
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
Support preventative maintenance programs throughout the facility.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, general labor, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to sit for extended periods while performing detailed work.
Ability to lift up to 30-40 pounds occasionally.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting throughout the shift.
Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies and maintenance tools.
