PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Mansfield, OH. We are hiring for Testers.
Shift: 3rd Shift | 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Training Requirement: Must train on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for approximately 90 days.
Pay Rate: $20.90/hour ($19.00 base pay plus 10% shift differential)
Tester Summary:
- Assemble, solder, and test a wide variety of relays and contactors.
- Perform operational testing, including operating times, operating voltage, dielectric, and insulation resistance testing.
- Test and adjust units to meet final test specifications and established procedures.
- Read and interpret drawings, test specifications, FTP reports, ATP reports, and other technical documentation.
- Utilize measuring instruments, hand tools, and gauges to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair products as needed.
- Work in a team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Tester Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly, soldering, and testing of relays and contactors.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical testing using analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and other testing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, test instructions, and procedures.
- Inspect products and materials to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and retest products as necessary.
- Operate specialized equipment, including mass spectrometers and ESS equipment when required.
- Assist with process improvements and support team training initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately.
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering irons, and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- ESD Training
- Solder Certification
- Testing Certification
- J-STD-001 Certification
- IPC-620 Certification
