Hours: 11:45 PM - 8:00 AM
Pay: $18.00 - $34.00/hr (Based on Experience)
PROMAN Staffing is seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals with plastics manufacturing experience for long-term career opportunities within a growing injection molding operation.
Whether you're an experienced Mold Technician or a Process Technician capable of troubleshooting molding processes and optimizing machine performance, we want to hear from you.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous plastics manufacturing experience required
- Injection molding experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and process documentation
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Ability to stand throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more as required
- High School Diploma, GED, technical training, or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, adjust, and maintain injection molding processes
- Perform mold changes, machine setups, and production startups
- Troubleshoot molding issues, defects, and downtime
- Monitor machine performance and production efficiency
- Make process adjustments to improve quality and reduce scrap
- Conduct quality inspections and dimensional checks
- Support material changes and production changeovers
- Ensure production standards and cycle time goals are met
- Communicate production, quality, and safety concerns with supervisors and team members
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Maintain housekeeping and organization within the work area
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Has experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
- Is mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work
- Has injection molding, mold setting, or process troubleshooting experience
- Can work independently and make sound decisions
- Pays close attention to quality and detail
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrates reliability and strong attendance
- Wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing
POSITION-SPECIFIC INFORMATION
- This is not an entry-level position
- Hands-on production and process support role
- Prior injection molding or Process Technician experience preferred
- Troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills required
- Perform process adjustments, startups, changeovers, and machine optimization
- May support multiple machines and production priorities simultaneously
- Overtime may be required based on production needs

- Fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Working around moving machinery, molds, and production equipment
- Additional overtime may be required based on production demands
