Material Handler

Location: Bonne Terre, MO
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM- subject to mandatory Over Time.

PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for a hands-on fabrication facility in Bonne Terre, MO. This role is ideal for dependable individuals with fabrication and material handling experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to read a tape measure is REQUIRED
Ability to read calipers is PREFERRED
Material handling experience is REQUIRED
Forklift experience is REQUIRED
Steel-toed boots are REQUIRED
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment is REQUIRED
Reliable transportation and attendance are REQUIRED
Class E Driver's License is PREFERRED

Job Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Read and use tape measures accurately
Support fabrication and production operations
Assist with cutting, assembling, and handling materials
Maintain inventory and organize material storage areas
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow all company safety procedures

Requirements

Previous material handling experience REQUIRED
Forklift experience REQUIRED
Ability to accurately read a tape measure is REQUIRED
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in heat, cold, dust, and changing temperatures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Industrial fabrication setting

Non-climate-controlled environment
Exposure to machinery, weather conditions, and varying temperatures
Physically demanding role requiring lifting, moving materials, and standing for long periods
