PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company. We are hiring an Injection Molding Machine Operator.
Shift: 3rd Shift: 7:30PM-6AM | 10-12 Hour Shifts | Monday-Thursday plus every other weekend (Friday & Saturday)
Pay Rate: $19.04/hr
Injection Molding Machine Operator Summary:
- Operate and maintain injection molding presses.
- Inspect molded products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Package finished products according to established packing procedures.
- Complete production, scrap, downtime, and labor reporting documentation.
- Support continuous production operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Follow established procedures and company policies to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Injection Molding Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate injection molding presses safely and efficiently.
- Perform visual inspections of molded products according to Quality Inspection Plans (QIP) and mold books.
- Package completed products following packing process sheets.
- Complete required production, scrap, downtime, and labor reporting paperwork.
- Perform weight counting, fill totes, and accurately label products.
- Move materials and finished products to the next stage of production.
- Load and unload components into and out of molds as required.
- Follow established work instructions and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report equipment issues, downtime, and production concerns as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn company policies, procedures, and job-specific skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work scheduled overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
