PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company. We are hiring a Production Operator for a weekend shift opportunity.
Shift: 4th Shift | 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Friday - Sunday
Pay Rate: $22.20/hr
Weekend Shift Bonus:
- Work 35.75 hours and receive an additional 4 hours of pay.
- Weekend employees are paid for 40 hours while working a 36-hour weekend schedule.
- Candidates must complete training on alternate shifts during their first several weeks, which may include weekday training or weekend daytime hours.
Production Operator Summary:
- Operate manufacturing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products.
- Monitor production processes and perform in-process testing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain production records and inventory documentation.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support continuous production operations.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Support production schedules and material flow to meet customer demand.
Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment used in the production process.
- Monitor raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to ensure production requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and production documentation.
- Perform in-process quality checks, including hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content testing.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot production issues to maintain efficiency.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and subassembly layouts as required.
- Track production orders, completed work, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to learn and follow established work instructions and procedures
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to identify and communicate production or equipment issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work the assigned weekend schedule
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
