Job description:

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our global chemical manufacturing client to source a talented Process Engineer to join their team in Solon, OH.

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY offering long-term career growth in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in driving safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes. You’ll lead technical initiatives, champion continuous improvement, and implement engineering solutions that enhance safety, quality, and productivity. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for process optimization and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and site EHS policies.
Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
Drive Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and corrective actions.
Champion continuous improvement projects to boost safety, quality, and efficiency.
Analyze production data to reduce cycle times and improve yields.
Support new product introductions, SOP development, and training programs.
Execute reliability and investment projects to enhance operational performance.
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Provide technical support and training for plant operations.

Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
✔ 2–3 years of experience in process engineering (chemical manufacturing preferred)
✔ Strong knowledge of EHS compliance, process safety, and regulatory standards
✔ Proven ability to lead projects, analyze data, and implement improvements
✔ Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
