PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company located in Arnold, MO to fill a full‑time Accounts Payable Associate position.

This opportunity is perfect for an individual with 6 months to 2 years of experience who excels in a fast‑paced manufacturing office environment and demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will support the finance team by processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Location: Arnold, MO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $18.00/hr (based on experience; pay has potential to increase)

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable invoices by verifying accuracy, matching them to purchase orders, and obtaining necessary approvals.
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper allocation to expense accounts and cost centers.
Review and reconcile supplier statements to identify and resolve discrepancies or outstanding payments.
Prepare and process payment batches, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment‑related issues promptly and professionally.
Assist with month‑end close by preparing required reports and schedules.
Maintain organized electronic and hard‑copy accounts payable files.
Collaborate with purchasing, supply chain, maintenance, and other departments to gather information and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required.
6 months to 2 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
Manufacturing office experience strongly preferred.
Strong numerical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
Solid organizational and time‑management skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
ERP experience is a plus.
