PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Machinist for a leading manufacturing company in Arnold, MO. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on machining experience who can read blueprints, operate shop equipment, and work safely and efficiently in a production environment.

Location: Arnold, MO
Pay Range: $15.00–$21.00 per hour (based on experience)
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:45PM- 12AM
3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 1:45PM- 8AM

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, detailed sketches, and diagrams to perform accurate machining operations.
Operate machinery to cut, shape, and modify various materials according to specifications.
Comply with all safety practices and procedures; verify machine safety before operating.
Perform hands‑on tasks including MIG welding, polishing, adjusting speeds, and setting machine parameters.
Use hand tools such as files, scrapers, and hammers to finish or adjust parts.
Operate equipment commonly found in a tool room effectively and efficiently.
Work under the mentorship of a Tool & Die Maker to perform basic setup and operate machine shop equipment.
Apply basic mechanical techniques to assemble or repair machine parts.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain on your feet for the entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic mathematical skills required.

Qualifications:

1 -2 years of machining experience preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
Familiarity with MIG welding, polishing, and machine settings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
Reliable transportation; must be able to commute to Arnold, MO or plan to relocate.
