This position requires hands-on experience with heavy plastic molding and vacuum forming. Must be comfortable working in a production environment and performing physical, repetitive tasks.
FABRICATION / SPECIAL PARTS TECHNICIAN (Temp to Hire)
1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Starting Pay: $20/hour
Location: Festus, MO
Key Experience:
- Heavy plastic molding (injection or blow molding)
- Vacuum forming
- Fabrication of plastic components
- Experience with production tools, machines, and measurements
Responsibilities:
- Perform vacuum forming, molding, CNC operations, and fabrication
- Heat and form materials using ovens
- Set up tools and machines for production runs
- Trim, route, drill, glue, and polish finished parts
- Follow blueprints and production instructions
- Use tape measures, calipers, and rulers for precision
- Inspect product for quality standards
- Pack and label finished goods
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years plastic molding experience
- CNC experience preferred
- 1–2 years quality control experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk 7+ hours per shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and with a team
