About the Role
Our client, a growing food manufacturer specializing in chocolate snacks, is hiring a Quality Control Technician to join their production team. You'll work on the floor ensuring food safety and quality standards are met at every stage of production.
What You'll Do
- Conduct daily food safety checks including operational checks, quality control point inspections, and verification of cleaning activities
- Monitor CCPs, allergen controls, foreign material controls, and product specifications
- Collect product and surface samples for microbiological and allergen testing
- Audit facility cleanliness and escalate non-compliances to the Quality Manager
- Reinforce GMP, HACCP, Food Defense, and sanitation standards with the production team
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and company standards
What You Need
- Fluent in English — reading, writing, and speaking required
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing QC environment
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and allergen control programs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Schedule
- 2-week paid training on 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 8AM–4PM
