Position Overview
The Production Manager will lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team performance. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with solid manufacturing experience who is ready to develop into a senior operations role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Supervise and develop shift leaders and production teams
- Manage production schedules and adjust to changing priorities
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to meet customer and plant objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and team development
Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Office
- Injection molding or plastics manufacturing experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and reach overhead as needed
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts when required
