Job description:
Read tickets, set up and operate plate maker machine in an efficient manner.
1-2 years’ experience.
Those without experience, will also be considered with 3-5 years of general machine operation with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Good attendance is critical.
Education and work requirements:
- Steel toe boots are required.
- General warehouse attire.
- High school diploma or equivalent. ·
- Lifting and Carrying: workers may be required to lift and carry heavy objects regularly. 50-60 lbs. The ability to lift, push, and pull heavy boxes, packages, or materials is essential. Employers may specify weight limits, and employees should be capable of lifting objects within those limits.
- Computer literate- intermediate to advanced level
- Standing and Walking: employees often spend extended periods on their feet, walking and moving around the warehouse. Stamina and endurance are important to keep up with the physical demands of the job.
- Bending and Stooping: Workers may need to bend, stoop, or crouch to pick up items from lower shelves or to organize inventory. Flexibility and agility are essential for these movements.
- Manual Dexterity: employees may need good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for tasks like picking and packing orders, handling small items, or using tools and equipment.
- Safety Awareness: Warehouse workers should be aware of and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures. This includes using proper lifting techniques, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and following safety protocol
