Entry-Level Mold Technician
Location: Park Hills, MO
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 4:25 PM - 2:55 AM
PROMAN Staffing is hiring an Entry-Level Mold Technician for a plastics manufacturing facility in Park Hills, MO. This role works directly alongside experienced Mold Setters and Process Technicians, making it a great opportunity for someone who already has plastics manufacturing experience and is ready to learn the technical side of injection molding.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous plastic manufacturing experience is REQUIRED
- Injection molding experience is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely around production machinery and equipment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- NO absences allowed during the first 90 days of employment
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Mold Setters with mold changes and machine setups
- Prepare molds, tools, and equipment for production runs
- Learn proper mold installation, removal, and startup procedures
- Monitor machine performance and notify supervisors of issues
- Perform product quality inspections throughout production
- Assist with troubleshooting minor production concerns
- Support material changes and production changeovers
- Complete production and quality documentation as required
- Maintain housekeeping and organization in the work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work around moving machinery and production equipment
