PROMAN Staffing is seeking a Quality Technician B for a manufacturing facility in Arnold, MO. This position combines quality assurance responsibilities with administrative support duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both office work and working on the production floor.
The Quality Technician B will support the Quality Department by maintaining documentation, entering data, organizing records, assisting with inspections, and ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards. Duties are performed both in an office setting and throughout the manufacturing floor. This role involves quality audits, inspections, documentation, and supporting production teams with quality-related processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter quality and production data into spreadsheets and company systems
- Maintain and update work instruction books and quality documentation
- Sort, organize, file, and distribute production and quality records
- Assist with quality audits and inspection activities
- Perform first-piece inspections and routine product checks
- Complete inspection reports accurately and on time
- Identify and report quality concerns to management
- Support production employees with quality standards and documentation requirements
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment as needed
- Work closely with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Production personnel
- Maintain organized records and ensure documentation compliance
- Assist with additional quality and administrative projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, administrative, or data entry experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the year
- Ability to work overtime when required
