PROMAN Staffing is sourcing and hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to support our client’s Syracuse, NY manufacturing facility. This DIRECT HIRE role is ideal for an experienced CNC maintenance professional looking for strong hourly pay, shift premium, and excellent benefits. Relocation Assistance Available

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machinery and related electrical/mechanical systems
Perform equipment teardown, diagnostics, component repair/replacement, and reassembly
Read and interpret PLC ladder logic, G‑code/M‑code, schematics, and blueprints
Conduct electrical testing and ensure machines meet operational specifications
Troubleshoot circuit boards and machine cycle issues
Report abnormal conditions and support continuous machine uptime

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED
Journeyman status or 3+ years of CNC maintenance/repair experience
Experience with PLC logic, motor controls, ladder logic, and schematics
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred

4+ years of CNC maintenance experience
Background in machining, hydraulics, or electrical systems
Two-year electronics degree or military electronics experience
